The view to downtown from Second Street, approaching Howard. This is the area where the financial and South-of-Market districts meet. This morning it is empty and quiet.
This print is from a series of hard ground etchings that originated when I worked in the Financial District of San Francisco. Most of these prints are locations that were within walking distance of my office during the lunch hour, and were found when I went out for walks around the city. Some of views of the locations have now changed due to new building construction, especially in the South-of-Market area.
