2-color linoleum block print on 16 x 16 Rives BFK paper.
A highly graphic and precisely stylized depiction of the shipping trade at the port of Oakland. Cargo containers are loaded and unloaded from ships by cranes. Longshoremen operate the cranes. The Intermodal shipping container is now a ubiquitous icon of global trade. The containers are stacked on the docks and soon go by railroad and trucking companies to their destination.
